Hearts of Oak coach Frank Nuttall leaves Ghana for Scotland today

Hearts of Oak coach Frank Nuttall will on Tuesday depart to his native country, Scotland after helping the club finish third position in the just ended the Ghana Premier League.

The 49-year-old trainer will leave the shores of Ghana after returning with the team from Tamale where they were thump 3-1 by bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko in the FA Cup final on Sunday.

The former Gor Mahia gaffer joined Hearts of Oak at the start of the last season and helped the club finish 3rd on the league standings with 45 points.

Despite the 49-year-old’s failure to win any silverware with the club, many aficionados lauded him for his work in transforming some of their players such as Wilfred Cobbinah, Fatau Mohammed, Thomas Abbey, Vincent Atinga, Kwame Kizito and Patrick Razak.

Nuttall is expected to return to Ghana in time for the start of the club’s pre-season training.
