Hearts likely to deepen the woes of Olympics

The nation’s capital, will host a revival of the city derby on Sunday afternoon, as Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak invites struggling Accra Great Olympics for match day six of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.

After a topsy-turvy performance in the last couple of games, the rainbow boys will hope to redeem themselves after somewhat a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Nana Agyemang Badu Park and perhaps deepen the woes of their rivals.

Hearts of Oak have recorded just a single win after playing five matches, whilst Accra Great
Olympics will quest for their first win of the season, having drawn twice and lost thrice in their previous games.

Coach Godwin Attram’s charges will need an extra effort to turn their season around, as they currently lie at the bottom of the league log.

Hearts however looks favourite, to win the three points at stake, the “Wonder Boys” are capable of causing havoc on any day.

Elsewhere, thriving Aduana stars will hope to continue their winning streak, as they travel to the South to face Inter Allies at the El-Wak Sports Stadium, on Saturday afternoon.
The Dormaa based side is currently lie on top of the league log, with four wins and a drawn game after match day five.

The homers, Inter Allies are optimistic to continue their good home performance against probable league winners Aduana Stars.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko on the other hand are hopeful to continue their good run of form, as they travel to Tamale to lock horns with Bolga All Stars.

The porcupines are joint league leaders with Aduana Stars, having recorded thirteen out of a possible fifteen points.

The Stars of the East, who are allegedly to be rechristened, will find it tough to overcome in-form Zdravko Lugarusic’s side.

Ashantigold, after massively annihilated by Berekum Chelsea, will invite Bechem United to the Len Clay sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Miners have suffered consecutive defeats and will need only a victory over Bechem United, to appease their fans at home.

Furthermore, Defending Champions, Wa All Stars will travel to Tarkwa and Aboso Park, to battle Medeama SC on Sunday. Having won their first league game on Wednesday, coach Adepa’s side will seek consistency with yet another victory.

Liberty Professionals will host Ebusua Dwafs at their favorite Dansoman Park, whereas Elmina Sharks welcome Steve Pollack’s Berekum Chelsea to the New Papa Kwasi Ndoum’s sports complex.
