Hearts captain Thomas Abbey eyes more goals after Goal of the Month award

Thomas Abbey says he is motivated to score more goals for the club having won the club’s Goal-of-the-Month for February.

The hardworking midfielder beat Patrick Razak and Alexandre Kouami to the award.

And Abbey says it is going to motivate him to score more goals for the club.

”I am happy because this is my first time of getting such an award from Hearts,” the winger told the club’s official website [www.accraheartsofoaksc.com]

”I thank the fans for the appreciation [of my goal] because it will motivate me to score more for the club and for myself.

”This season I am targeting a number of goals because in pre season I scored wonderful goals so I am expecting and hoping to translate it in the league.”
