Daakyehene Kwabena Amoabeng host of Academic and Professional sports morning edition on Tema based radio Station Ahotor 92.3Fm interviewed the Technical Director for Ghana football governing body (GFA) to educate the public on the plans they have for the development of upcoming players in the country.
“There is indeed an arrangement to develop more players to even take over from the current players we have at the under 17 now”, Mr. Akenteng stated.
Mr. Oti Akenteng went ahead to say ” We are trying to liaise with the GFA to see if we can bring back the MILO Championship,for young boys to be developed for our under 13 team so they can take over from the current U-17 boys”.
“We the technical directorate will develop the boys so they can take over from the current black stars if they don’t play again”. ” We are looking at performance so let’s hope their development will be a success, so we get a proper foundation”,he concluded.
