Court remands four suspects over death of AWA engineer one on bail

Five people have been arrested following the death of a 34- year old man who works as an aircraft engineer for the Africa World Airlines (AWA).

The engineer whose name was given as Prince Kwabena Kumi was travelling from Accra to Akyem Asuboa to join his family for the Easter celebration.

His family however launched a search for him when he did not arrive for the celebration and was found dead with gunshots earlier this month.

He is set to be buried on April 28 2018

The five suspects in connection to the death of the young engineear are Sampson Anim, Driver of a Hyundai grace which picked the victim deceased for Asuboa, Ebenezer Asante, 32, Okyere Emmanuel, 18, Samuel Peprah, 27, and Konadu Frank, 18.

Okyere Emmanuel, is a Senior High School final year student and is writing the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE), He has been released on bail to two surities.

The rest of the four have been remanded by the court and are to reappear at the court on May 5 2018.
