Basic schools re-open Tuesday-GES

All heads of public basic schools across the country have been directed by the Ghana Education Service (GES) to re-open school tomorrow, May 9, 2017.

This is to enable both the primary and Junior High Schools (JHS) to begin academic activities for the third term in the 2016/2017 academic year.

This directive follows a press release issued by the management of GES on Monday, May 8, 2017 and signed by GES Director of Public Relations, Rev Jonathan Bettey.

Part of the press release read: “The Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to remind all Heads of Basic schools, teachers, parents, guardians and the general public of the re-opening date for Basic schools scheduled for Tuesday, 9th May, 2017.

The GES, has therefore, directed all heads of schools to comply with the directive.
