Armed Robbers who attacked me used a security branded car- Aseidu Nketia

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Johnson Aseidu Nketia has stated that the robbers who attacked him on Monday 28th August used a security branded car.

Mr. Nketia, made it clear that these rubbers who were armed with guns did not harm him.

Narrating the incident to Ahotor FM’s Morning Show host Emmanuel Quarshie in a telephone interview on Tuesday 29th August said the men had, their faces hidden by masks, he caused his driver to stop suddenly when they crossed his car with a Toyota Tundra vehicle with registration number GT 66612.

The men then got out of their car with AK 47 guns and other weapons and banged their wrists on his car, instructing that he and his driver get down from the car, but upon noticing oncoming vehicles, the thugs quickly got into their car and sped off.

“I got out of my car and shouted, immediately they entered into the car and drove off”

“We made an attempt to take a picture of the gun men but we were not successful, so I called National Security to inform them of what has happened so that they could alert any barrier on that road in a bid to arrest the gun men but I’m yet to hear from them.” He stated.

The general secretary further stated that he has reported the issue to the minister of interior. And has the confidence that the needed investigation will be done to unravel the perpetrators.

He said none of the persons he’s was traveling with suffered any injury during the scary incident.
