Anyaku-Konu Celebrates Dutudoza 2017

The chiefs and the people of Anyoko-Konu celebrates the Dutudoza festival 2017 under the Theme: Communal Spirit; the key to Total Development of every community

Activities marking this great festival starts from Wednesday 27th September, 2017 through to Sunday 1st October, 2017.

There will be Nugbuidodo (unity Rites) and other traditional rites on Wednesday 27th September, 2017.

0n Thursday, 28th September, 2017 there will be a clean -up exercise in the various community (Dime Dzradzrado)

The Durbar Ground preparation starts from Friday Morning, 29th September, 2017 from 6am-10am which will be followed by a float to surrounding villages from 1pm-7pm.


The grand durbar of chiefs and people will be held on Saturday 30th September, 2017 from 10am -2pm which will be followed by a Talent Show in the evening from 7pm- Till Day Break

There will also be a Health walk on Sunday 1st October, 2017 from (4am-6:30am). This will be followed by a thanksgiving Service which will be non- denominational.

A funfair will climax the day’s activities on that day.

The festival will have Dr. Archibald Letsa, Volta Regional Minister as the special guest of honour.

The program is under the chairmanship of Torgbi Sri III, the paramount Chief of Anlo state
