Akufo-Addo’s ‘Gay Ghana’, Pentecost Leadership Must Speak – Ofosu-Ampofo.

The Vice chairman and Director of elections of the Main Opposition National Democratic congress, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has charged faith based moral societies to be assertive, proactive and vintage in matters of debilitating  national discourse which have dire repercussions on nation building.

He was speaking on the sidesteps of UK Prime Minister Theresa May’s call to assist Africa heads of state to outlawed Gayism in counties which abhors the practice.

Theresa May made the pledge while delivering a speech at the ongoing common wealth summit for world leaders of sub Sahara Africa and Europe.

She reiterated the UK’s commitment of ensuring that stringent and hard legislations which despised unfettered access for gays and lesbians would be reviewed and outlawed through a consultative engagement with respective host and member countries.

An assertion according to the chief NDC scribe is distasteful and smacks of moral decadence.

Speaking during Ahotor FM’s morning discussant platform dubbed ‘OMAN YI MU NSEM’ on Thursday 19/4/18″.

He chided President Akufo-Addo for risking the integrity of Ghana at the expense of economic austerity and grant.

He noted the silence nature of the President and appointees depicts a clandestine perception that the country has been mortgaged for bad socio cultural tendencies, citing examples in the past where late president Mills refuted similar admonition by the then prime minister David Cameron that he should allow the practice to fester in Ghana for economic profitability.

Mr Ampofo queries why Akufo-Addo always engrossed himself with issues about Gays and lesbians whenever he finds himself on a diplomatic forum.

He fumed the country is in distress and requires urgent austerity rather than spending man hours to trade ideas on the promulgation of legal directions to rally supports for homosexuality and lesbianism which will only stifled the moral fibre of the country.

He implored President Nana Addo to speak to the issue since the act cannot be contained in Ghana and further questioned why ” western diplomats always confront our president with Grey issues” whenever he embarks  on trip to Europe.

He again described the call by the British Prime minister as an affront to national sovereignty which ought not entertained, Subject to the sacred societal neocolonial and imperialist acts.

Hon. Ofosu charged the moral and society civil organizations, with a passionate call on the leadership of the Church of Pentecost to speak against the ills in the country.

Mr. Samuel Ampofo revealed ” this nonsense must stop we should stand up”

He schooled the government to concentrate and channeled their resources to salvaged the nation through the provision of access to health infrastructure, quality education, enhancements in economic paradigm amongst loads of positive economic indicators but was quick to expressed fear that if these developmental setbacks are not given the needed attention there could be a revolt by ordinary citizens who hold the key to the fortunes of the nation.
