Aduana captain Godfred Saka out for two weeks with ankle injury

Aduana Stars have been hit with a big blow after a medical report revealed skipper Godfred Saka will be out of action for two weeks following an ankle injury the experienced defender sustained during their 1-1 stalemate with Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara sports stadium last Wednesday.

Godfred Saka had to be substituted for Nana Yaw Afriyie to continue during the second half of the game and the report however, stresses that the local Black Stars defender had dislocation of some bones at his ankle which will keep him out for at least the next 14 days.

’’ It is true that Godfred Saka got an ankle injury in our game against kotroko which according to our medical team, he will stay home for about two weeks before he will return to the pitch, PRO of Aduana Amo Gyamfi told in an exclusive interview.

It is not any serious injury that can harm his future but then he also needs to be given good care of so that we don’t escalate the degree of his injury’’.

Aduana Stars are currently lying second on the League log with 26 points, 3 points adrift l leaders Wafa.
