A Plus is right; tow levy is create, loot and share – Dr Amoako Baah

Controversial musician and sympathizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame A Plus is right to choose “create, loot and share” to describe the controversial mandatory towing levy, according to a political scientist.

“I am not surprised the singer is calling it create, loot and share”, Senior Lecturer with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Dr. Richard Amoako Baah agreed.

The controversial and vociferous musician believes the introduction of the levy is just a way for people to create, loot and share the country’s limited resources.

However, the KNUST senior lecturer and aspiring National Chairman of the ruling NPP seems to agree with the musician’s attack on the government.

“Why didn’t [former] President Mahama implement it because he knew the outcry that will come that is why they put it aside. …I am sure they would have implemented it after the elections”, he envisaged.

“They did not win and so why are we doing that. …it is suspicious”, Dr Richard Amoako Baah bemoaned on Kumasi-bases Ultimate FM’s morning show.

Meanwhile, the former Roads and Highways Minister, Hon. Innusah Fusieni under whose tenure the bill kick-started says the law is a good which must be implemented.
