A Plus Calls Ursula’s Bluff

Controversial musician and comedian, Kwame Asare-Obeng otherwise known as ‘Kwame A Plus’, has called the bluff of Communications Minister, who is threatening him with a court suit.

“…I’m not afraid of anyone. Not a single soul. I’m wild like a lion!!! Bring it on. You’ll be humiliated,” A Plus wrote in a Facebook post to respond to Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, who is demanding an apology from the entertainer or face her in court over an alleged libelous publication.

Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, through her lawyers, is demanding an immediate retraction and apology for the comments the musician made on Facebook in the wake of the Kwasi Nyantakyi GFA scandal.

On May 23, Kwame Asare Obeng better known as A-Plus is alleged to have written on his Facebook wall: “Kwasi Nyantakyi is only being sacrificed to cover up the $89/178 million KelniGVG stinking scandal.”

He is also alleged to have accused the Minister of being involved in “some shady deals at the Communications Ministry and National Communication Authority (NCA).”

“When you were waking me up at dawn to accuse John Mahama of everything did he sue me?…You people will regret knowing me. I will fight you till I drop dead!!! This kwame A Plus guy is a whole new Ghanaian. I’m not afraid of anyone. You can’t intimidate me. You just can’t. Nobody!!! I’m not one of the people you can intimidate in Ghana,” he wrote in another post.
